Route 97: Obernberg See-Sandjöchl

The route begins at the bridge and the chapel "Maria am See" at the lake of Obernberg, leading to the south across a meadow to the Laneregg. From here uphill to the Sandjöchl (2.165 m, national border!).

Here you find a road junction. Right route 93A to Portjoch, left route 97A to Flachjoch. Head in direction north-east to the Sattele and descend to the Hochleger (1.948 m). Downhill across the Fradertal back to Obernberg in about 1,5 hours.
